In the Russian Federation tried to create an "invisible" ship, but nothing turned out: lost 10 years

The developers spent 10 years and 29 billion rubles, promising to hand over a ready -made corvette in two years, but suddenly decided to process the project and "froze" the construction. In Russia, a new "invisible ship" (20386) was recognized as a failure. About it reports the Russian news agency "Ria News", referring to a knowledgeable source. The source stated that the stels-Corvette was sent for redressing for "additional technological solutions".

The project was not closed, but its implementation was postponed indefinitely. As the source emphasized, in order to decide on the construction of a series of projects of the project 20386, an assessment of the efficiency of work from the main ship is required. The Corvets of the 20386 project are ships of the new generation, which implements the modular principle of weapons, as well as the possibility of disposal of UAVs.

They were to be completely invisible to the radars due to a special radio absorption. According to Ateo Breaking Telegram channel, Stealth-Corvette was developed for 10 years and planned to put it into the Russian Fleet for two years, but "recognized as a failure. " According to the Mashtech channel, only one 20386 project on the Northern shipyard has been laid today, but construction has been frozen.

It is known that the Russians have completed only the building without superstructure, but expenses have already exceeded 29 billion rubles. The main problem is the expensive radar system (radar) - it has not been integrated into the radio electronic weapons system. At the same time, the soldiers wanted to get a variable amount of load in containers, which required additional volume and waterboard. The problems were added on the helicopter corvette as a heavy rocket cruiser.

In 2021, the united shipbuilding corporation stated that the ship may never join the fleet, even if it is completed - in this case it will remain a vessel for tests. In 2016, the main corvette from this project was labeled on the Northern shipyard in 2016, then renamed Mercury. Later, this name was given to the corvette of the project 20380, which on May 13, 2023 became part of the Navy. Earlier they wrote that the Russians were spanning through the development of sea drones in Ukraine.
