In his opinion, purchases for the German Army are underway as slowly as 20 years ago. He also doubts that the Bundesver will be able to prepare a quality NATO defense unit by 2025. The current Defense Minister Boris Pistorius should demand an additional 10 billion euros for the needs of the army, said the head of the CDU faction.
