Volodymyr Zelensky and Christine Lagarde discussed the fair use of frozen Russian assets to protect against the Russian war and restore life in Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has a telephone conversation with the President of the European Central Bank Christine Lagarde. The head of state informed about the night -Russian attack and strikes on the Ukrainian energy system. Russia has used more than 450 drones and dozens of rockets, including bal its studies. Repair crews and energy are now in different regions to restore normal life.

According to the President, it is important that Russia is real responsible for delaying war and trying to destroy life. The parties discussed how to use frozen Russian assets to protect against the Russian war and restore life in Ukraine. There is a solution to how to do it. Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Christine Lagard for her support. The head of state noted that there should be sufficient political will in Europe, because it is the most of these assets.
