"We want to defend Ukraine": Germany named Taurus missiles for the Armed Forces in Germany

According to Germany Minister Boris Pistorius, the issue is not related to distrust of Ukrainians and their ability to use long -range missiles, but is explained only by security. The decision to supply Taurus missiles to Ukraine will be made by the German Cabinet in one or two weeks. The head of the German Ministry of Defense Boris Pistorius told this, reports the German edition of Phoenix. "We want to defend Ukraine.

And if one or two weeks will pass to make a decision to supply Taurus missiles, so be it," Pistorius said. He stressed that the issue is not associated with distrust of Ukrainians and their ability to use longitudinal missiles, but rather related to security. Pistorius noted that he and all members of the Cabinet of Ministers are united by the obligation to prevent harm to the German people, but they also seek to protect Ukraine.

"Although the solution will take some time, an important understanding and support from Ukrainian friends," summed up the head of the German Defense Ministry. Winged rockets do not always get on radars because they fly at low altitudes. They are mainly used for attacks for important purposes, such as command points/bins, ammunition and fuel warehouses, aerodromes and bridges.
