It is noted that the local company Raytheon Missils and Defense, located in Arizona, is going to buy from various sources of the missile worth $ 192 million. It is noteworthy that this weapon is medium range and can significantly help the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the fight against Russian invaders. The date of delivery and the number of missiles that are planned to be purchased is not yet disclosed. It is only known that it will be done by November 29, 2024.
Money for this package of assistance was allocated from the Foundation for Security Promotion In Ukraine. AIM-120 AMRAAM (Advanced Medium-Air-To-Air Missile) is an American development that was presented in 1991. It is an all-aged managed air-air rocket that is able to fly at medium distances. By the way, they are the main weapon for all types of modern fighters that are currently in the United States.
