The presidents of Ukraine and France discussed support for the Ukrainian energy system and the fight against the shadow fleet of the Russian Federation

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, had a telephone conversation with the President of France, Emmanuel Macron. The head of state thanked for the words of sympathy due to the Russian attacks on civilians and, in particular, Russia's shelling of a passenger train in the Kharkiv region. Volodymyr Zelenskyy informed about the situation at the front and Russian losses, which are constantly increasing.

The presidents discussed diplomatic work: trilateral meetings in Abu Dhabi and preparations for new ones that may take place. It was also about the fight against the Russian shadow fleet. Emmanuel Macron spoke about the relevant work at the legislative level. The leaders paid special attention to strengthening Ukrainian energy sustainability. In the near future, Ukraine will receive generators from France.
