Ukraine will re -export grain whether it likes Russia or not - Budanov

The head of GUR stated that the world should not be a hostage to one terrorist country. The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov declared on the Bulgarian TV channel BTV that Ukraine will again start export of grain from its ports despite Russia. According to Budanov, the world should not be a hostage to one terrorist country, because due to the reduction of exports of Ukrainian grain, the countries of Asia and Africa suffer mainly.

"We do everything necessary to restore grain exports through the Black Sea and restore this export. It will happen regardless of whether it likes Russia or not," - said Budanov. According to the head of GUR, another testimony to Russia's crimes against humanity is the attacks of its armed forces on port infrastructure and granaries of Ukraine. Also in the framework of an interview, Budanov answered questions about the Armed Forces counter -offensive.

According to him, the Russians managed to build well -fortified defensive positions and despite this the Ukrainian army continues to step on. "I will not hide that it is difficult. The main thing is that the counter -offensive continues and in the Bakhmut direction it goes a little faster than in the south, but time will tell," - said Budanov. The GURA also thanked Bulgaria for his help in the war against Russia.

In particular, he reported that this country has already transferred a considerable amount of weapons to Ukraine and increases the production of new ammunition. "Our needs are very large, so it is vital for us," Budanov said. We remind that the Black Sea Grain Initiative in 2022 gave the world more than 32 million tons of Ukrainian food.

On August 3, during a UN Security Council meeting, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken stated that the countries of the world need to combine efforts to counteract Russian blackmail famine, which can start on the planet.
