"I am fighting for survival": Ukrainians turn cheap drones into weapons against Russians (video)

Volunteers are taught to manage FPV-Drons and attack the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces on the secret base of the Victory Drones project. Ukraine is trying to gain advantage in the war of drones, constantly attacking Russian troops and cities with drones. This requires a large staff of operators and since many men went to war, women now have been managed by women, CNN reports. Today, many UAV operators are needed to success on the front, so courses in Ukraine are organized in Ukraine.

One of these projects is the Victory Drones - the Ecosystem of Learning Operators for the Armed Forces, the SES and the medical services in cooperation with the General Staff of Ukraine. CNN journalists visited one of the secret landfills near the abandoned church. Here, young women of different professions train to manage Mavic drones, overcoming various air obstacles. "We do everything in our power to resist the Russian invaders.

Everything is simple - the Russians came to kill us and we fight for our survival," says Julia, one of the cadets of the UAV management course. "I was a writer and director of films before the war, and Now - the drone operator. " The courses are used to discharge ammunition by Chinese quadcopters. This is a very cheap solution compared to the harm of the millions of dollars that they can cause Russian equipment, journalists say.

During the classes, girls are taught to throw away sand bottles on the intended target, and having experienced experience, they will then be able to use the FPV-leaf (drone overlooking the first person) to destroy a true enemy. Similarly, these drones and operators' skills will be useful for intelligence, because, as you know, small civilian drones are used for monitoring on the collision line.

"Drones are very important not only for the destruction of the enemy's technique, but also for intelligence," says the co -founder of the project Lyuba Shipovich. "Intelligence drones make it possible to clearly evaluate the situation and understand what weapons and which equipment should be used at this point when it is necessary to step, and when it is better to wait," she adds.

In addition to practical skills in managing cadets, they also teach simple engineering skills: to solder, to program, to program and stitch drones for the right goals. The operator should be able to repair the drone if he suffered during the task, but was able to return to the base. Earlier, Focus said that the Armed Forces drone destroyed the Russian Federation by $ 5 million.
