Boats attack on boats: sailors found a "secret weapon" against muddy whales

The boat operators shared unusual ways they use to avoid the attack of marine predators in the Gibraltar Strait. Recently, there is more and more reports that the killes are attacking tourist boats in the Gibraltar Strait in Southwestern Europe. The first reports of the attacks appeared in 2020, and recently the killer has improved their tactics, writes Daily Mail.

The last incident occurred on October 31, when the killer attacked the Polish yacht: whales attacked a boat for 45 minutes, which later sank due to damage to the body. Fortunately, people who were on board managed to save. In focus. Technology has appeared its Telegram channel. Subscribe not to miss the latest and most intrusive news from the world of science! Such attacks have become a big problem in the region, while scientists still cannot explain such amazing behavior of kids.

However, several theories still exist. It is expected that one of the first attacks was committed by a female who had previously been affected by a boat, and later taught this behavior of other whales. Another theory suggests that this behavior is not aggressive, but a game. One way or another, the sailors are tired of suffering from whale attacks, and therefore more and more often invent options that will allow them to get rid of annoying muds.

Facebook even appeared a group where boat operators share their "secrets" about how to remove the boat. One of the most common answers was music: sailors turn on heavy metal or other noisy and aggressive music to remove the cosics. Allegedly, this method actually works. According to one of the sailors, herself was swimming to his boat, who intended to attack the boat, but after hearing the music, they only circled around him and disappeared.

However, not all sailors agree that this "secret weapon" works. For example, according to German sailor Florian Rutch, who controls a catamaran for travel by the Iberian Peninsula, he also tried a similar method, but it did not work. According to the sailor, they tried to turn on loud aggressive music with the team and even scattered sand, but all this did not help to remove the spys. One way or another, a playlist called Metal for Orcas even appeared on Spotify.
