Google survived the largest cyberattack in its story

In just a few seconds, the search engine server received the number of requests that users address "Wikipedia" per day. Google search engine has suffered from the greatest attack of hackers in the history of its existence. It happened in June, but the corporation's press service only reported now. Cyberatak began 09:45 local time. Her peak came in the second minute. It was possible to cope with the attack of hackers at 10:54.

During the attack, the search engine received 46 million requests for a second. And it started with 10 thousand requests per second. Hackers are known to use HTTPS. They came from 5256 weekends from 132 countries. By the way, in June 2020 they also recorded one of the largest attacks on Google at the time. Then Google Chrome browser recorded 32 million copies of spyware.

Spy programs masked under online translators, file converters, safety expansion and other utilities have been distributed free of charge. The software secretly copied the history of site visits by users and sent fraudsters other private information. The fraudsters used simple but reliable ways to mask their activities. The fraudulent network was associated with about 15,000 domain names that were designed with a small registrar with Israel Galcomm.
