The USA rehearsed a pre-emptive strike on the Russian Federation: Putin threatened a nuclear response (video)

Share: Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin has said that Russia is ready to take "appropriate measures" if the US conducts nuclear tests. He instructed government agencies to prepare proposals for possible preparation for such tests.

According to "Zvezdanews", during a meeting with permanent members of the Security Council in Moscow, Putin emphasized that the situation surrounding Donald Trump's statements regarding possible American nuclear weapons tests, according to him, needs serious analysis. As Putin noted, he instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, special services and civilian agencies to prepare joint proposals regarding possible preparation for nuclear tests.

"I instruct the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, special services and relevant civilian agencies to do everything to gather additional information on these issues, conduct an analysis on the site of the Security Council and make agreed proposals on the preparation of nuclear weapons," Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

According to RIA Novosti, at the same meeting, the Minister of Defense of Russia, Andriy Belousov, announced that in October, the United States conducted exercises to practice a preventive missile-nuclear strike on the territory of Russia. According to him, Washington also plans to deploy medium-range missiles in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region, the flight time of which will be approximately 6-7 minutes from Germany to Central Russia.

Belousov said that he considers it expedient to start preparations for possible nuclear tests at the Nova Zemlya test site. "Given the activity of the USA in the field of strategic exercises and their plans for the deployment of weapons, I consider it necessary to start preparations for possible tests," the Russian Defense Minister emphasized.

Also, according to Russian media, the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Serhiy Naryshkin, said that the United States ignored Moscow's request for an explanation regarding the Trump administration's statements about resuming nuclear tests. FSB chief Oleksandr Bortnikov, in turn, asked the president for time for a detailed analysis of information about Washington's preparations for the tests.
