Putin in determination: Zelensky appealed to EU leaders through Russian missile terror

The head of state spoke about the damage caused by the Russian invaders during recent attacks and called for more air defense systems. To stop the Kremlin's aggression, Ukraine immediately needs help, and the Member States of the European Union must be more determined. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during a special meeting of the European Council. "We all need to overcome Putin in determination now that this war will finally start to go to a just end," he said.

At the same time, the head of state expressed gratitude to the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz for the decision to transfer to Ukraine additional Patriot and missiles for air defense. According to the President, the Russians have already destroyed all thermal electrical generation of Ukraine. Volodymyr Zelenskyy recalled that the Russians attack dams and equipment of hydroelectric power plants, as well as gas infrastructure.

"We also see that Russia does not give up radiation blackmail and, in particular, continues to play with the safety of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. We do not exclude that the infrastructure of other nuclear stations and distribution networks is also threatened with Russian terror," he. The President noted that such actions of the Russians can only be stopped by the power of air defense-specific Patriot, Iris-T, SAMP/T, NASAMS.

Zelensky emphasized that European partners have all these systems, and they are right now in Ukraine to deprive Russian President Vladimir Putin's habit of relying on terrorist methods. "The greater our percussion opportunities, the faster the Russian occupier will be forced to leave the sovereign territory of Ukraine and, thanks to this, will be forced to give peace to each of the neighbors, the whole of Europe," Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized.
