According to law enforcement officers, the resident of Odessa went to cooperate with the enemy and and transferred him secret information. He is threatened with life imprisonment. The Security Service of Ukraine in the Kiev region detained a corrector who worked for the Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation during the special operation, the SBU press service reports.

According to law enforcement officers, the agent was engaged in the establishment of geolocation of units of defense forces in the territory of the Kiev region. Most of the informant was interested in the repair bases of the Armed Forces, where they carry out maintenance and restoration of Ukrainian equipment, electrical substation in Kiev and places of combat duty of Ukrainian air defense.

"Intelligence information was needed by invaders to prepare a new series of sighting air strikes of the Russian Federation in Kiev and adjacent settlements," the SBU said. When the suspect carried out a video of the Armed Forces military base and "tied" its GPS coordinates to the electronic card, the security service staff detained him, so to speak, "hot". Investigators found that the Russian Armed Forces was a 23-year-old resident of Odessa, who moved to Kiev.

To search for "fast earnings" he placed "summary" on specialized online platforms. Russian military intelligence became interested in this person and for money attracted him in cooperation in favor of the Russian Federation. Communication was carried out through one of the messengers. For conspiracy, the traitor created several anonymous accounts.

Searches were conducted at the place of residence of the detainee, which revealed a laptop and a smartphone with evidence of its intelligence and subversive activities against Ukraine. He is now in custody. He was informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code (treason, committed in martial law). The sanction of the article provides for a sentence of life imprisonment. We will remind, on August 16, the SBU detained the "mole", which wanted to join the ranks of the Armed Forces.
