That will make Russia stop the war: President of Latvia named three factors

Russia's strategy is only in continuing the war, according to Latvia President Edgar Rinkevich, but there are three factors that will make Putin put an end to this aggression. Latvia President Edgar Rinkevich has named three factors that will force dictator Vladimir Putin to stop a tough war against Ukraine. He told about it on September 29 in an interview with Helsingin Sanomat during an official visit to Finland.

When asked what a Russia, led by Vladimir Putin, to stop the cruel war, Latvia president named three factors that the Russian dictator should take into account. "First of all, the understanding that the West will continue to support Ukraine regardless of one or another of a separate turn of the war. I think Putin is aware that he is not the one who can challenge the economic power of the United States, Canada and the European Union," President Latvia said.

The second factor of Rinkevich is the purposefulness of the efforts of the Allies of Ukraine to increase defense and industrial potential and to produce all the necessary countries that fights with the aggressor, grenades, ammunition, missiles, drones and tanks, while replenishing their own reserves. The third important factor, according to President of Latvia, is Ukraine's progress at the front.

"He must demonstrate Russia that all dreams of returning territories liberated by Ukraine in vain," Rinkevich determined his vision of the Russian-Ukrainian war. President of Latvia stressed that he has no illusions that Russia's aggression against Ukraine would end quickly. "I feel that Russia's current strategy is to simply continue the war in the hope that we are tired," the President said.

In doing so, Rinkevich refers to the Western community: the USA, Canada, EU countries and other like -minded people who support Ukraine's defense struggle. "I think everyone understands that we should continue to support Ukraine with all that we have, taking care of our own defense capability," he emphasized.

President Rinkevich noted that Latvia made significant conclusions about Russia's invading war against Ukraine: in the country they restored conscription to the army, paid special attention to volunteers and, above all, increased the defense budget of the state to 3% of GDP by 2027. We will remind, Focus wrote that in August Latvia increased safety measures on the border with Belarus. Latvian border guards have declared an increase in the number of incidents with illegal migrants.
