Mark Rutte announced the deployment of North Korean servicemen after meeting with a high -ranking representative of South Korea's intelligence services. On Monday, NATO Secretary General will also contact the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov. The North Korean soldiers transferred to Russia were located in the Kursk region, in the Russian territory controlled by the Ukrainian forces. This statement was made by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte on Monday, October 28.

"I can confirm that North Korea troops were sent to Russia and that the North Korea Armed Forces were placed in the Kursk region," Rutte said to reporters some time after meeting with a highly set official of South Korea's reconnaissance service.
