Shooting nuclear "baits": the Russian Federation studies air defense in Kiev, launching imitation X-55-experts

On the night of December 7 to December 8, the Russian command launched a flock of winged missiles across Ukraine, including imitation X-55 warheads. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation for the second time uses false shells, which may indicate an effort to find out where the air defense installations are.

The circumstances of the night shelling were told by experts of the Defense Express portal. Experts said that from their own sources received three images of fragments of rockets, which fell in the Kyiv region as a result of disposal of air defense forces. In the photos they saw that warheads were "baits". In particular, it is noticeable that there are no "wings in the nose" on the wreckage.

This indicates that they were not knocked down by the X-555 combat missile, as the Armed Forces Air Force wrote in the report, and the X-55 missile without nuclear charge was written. In addition, the presence of X-55 during the shelling was written by the head of the Kyiv MVA Sergey Popko, the investigators said. The publication indicates that X-55 is a warhead designed for a nuclear charge. The weight of the combat part in this case is 400 kg. Meanwhile, the X-555 rocket is a regular rocket wing.

For such a rocket to reach the target, it was equipped with additional "wings" for balancing. That is, if there are these wings on the debris-we have a X-555 missile, if not-X-55 without a combat nuclear part, it is said in the Defense Express article. According to experts, "bait" was used to find air defense systems that Russians want to destroy during the next blows in Kiev. It was recalled that the enemy had already used this method of action.

For example, during one of the shelling in November the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation was also used X-55. It should be noted that on the night of December 8, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched seven drones-Kamikadze Shahd-136 and 19 winged missiles X-101/X-555. According to the Armed Forces report, five drones and 14 rockets were knocked down.

The Air Force spokesman Yuri Ignat explained that the enemy has restored the missile arsenal, which is now using for shelling of the Ukrainian territory.
