According to the department, this year no person who threatens national security has been excluded from the relevant list. There are 213 people currently on the list. The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine has made Russian singer Yaroslav Dronov, who is known for his Z-patriotic song "I am Russian", to the list of persons who threatens national security. In addition to Dronov, in 2023, MKIP added to the list of Russian actor Alexei Kravchenko, known for the films "9 mouth", "Solnphecco", "Our special forces", series "Brigade", "Special Forces" and more. The department also noted that in 2023 no person from this list was excluded. There are now 213 people on the list.

As recalled in the MKIP, in 2022, four Russians were introduced to the list of persons who threatened national security: Vladimir Solovyov, Dmitry Kiselev, Anna Semenovich and Dmitry Puchkov. At the same time the same year, the Russian humorist Maxim Galkin was excluded from this list.
