Poland has declared a leak on the Druzhba Pipeline: the Russian Federation supplies oil to Europe (photo)

The accident was noticed on one of the two branches of the pipeline section 70 kilometers from Pagotsk. The Polish side does not consider diversion and speaks of accidental injuries. One of the two branches of the western section of the Druzhba oil pipeline occurred. This was reported by the Polish operator Pern. PERN automation systems noticed a leak late on the evening of October 11 at the pipeline section, which is about 70 kilometers from the Polish city of Plotsk.

This is the main route that raw oil enters Germany. According to the operator, the causes of the leakage have not been installed, the second line of oil pipeline works unchanged. Other elements of PERN infrastructure, including the Pomeranian plot, through which oil tankers are transported to Poland and Germany, operate in full -time mode. The Russian company "Transneft" noted that the leak on "Friendship" happened closer to the border with Germany.

Poland continues to receive oil from the Russian Federation on the Pipeline "Friendship", added to "Transneft". The Polish company Pern reported "Transneft" about the leakage on the main oil pipeline "Friendship", but how quickly the problem is eliminated, it is unknown, said "Interfax" Vice president "Transneft" Sergey Andronov. "Yes, we have received a Polish company notification of the leak. So far, the oil reception is going on their part.

So they have the containers they accept," Vice president said. Poland's Energy Infrastructure Head Mateusz Berger said in communication with Reuters that a leak on one of the branches of the Druzhba oil pipeline could have happened due to accidental damage. According to him, there is no reason to consider what happened to an act of sabotage. "In this case, we can talk about accidental injuries," Berger said.

Karol Kerzkovsky, a fire brigade representative, said the PERN operator's emergency service was working on the spot. They pump out the pipelines that have poured out of the pipeline into special tanks. Almost 400 cubic meters have already been taken out. According to the firefighter, the leak is not threatening to the population, it occurred in the field of corn, where there are no buildings. He was too early to speak, he emphasized.

Poland's Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment Adam Gybourge-Chetvertinsky did not comment on the diversion in the oil pipeline. The official said that rescuers and security services are working, experts are analyzing the situation. Friendship is one of the world's largest main oil pipelines. The pipeline passes from Samara to Bryansk, then to the Belarusian Mozyr, where it branches into two sections.

The northern branch goes throughout Belarus, Poland, Germany, Lithuania and Latvia, and the south through Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Croatia. Recall that in May, the authorities of Ukraine spoke about the possibility of influencing Hungary with the help of the Friendship oil pipeline. Later, the Russian media wrote about the attempts of saboteurs to blow up the Druzhba oil pipeline in the Bryansk region. They allegedly installed 3 homemade explosives on him.
