"My number has not changed": Macron stated that he was ready to restore the dialogue with Putin

The President of France said he could talk to the Kremlin head, provided his proposals for peaceful settlement, but under compliance with international law. French President Emmanuel Macron said on Friday, December 15 that he was ready to restore dialogue with Russian President Vladimir Putin under certain conditions. He stated this at a press conference following the summit of EU leaders.

In fact, it was actually a Macron's response to the Russian dictator, who complained at his annual final press conference that the French president had not been called him for a long time, and he was open to contacts. "At some point, the President of France stopped the relationship with us. We did not do it, I did not. He did. If there is interest, we are ready. If not, we will handle. We will have other things," Putin said.

At the same time, Macron emphasized that if President Putin has serious suggestions and he is ready to restore a dialogue that will allow to achieve a peaceful settlement in compliance with international law, France will always be a state that will provide support and will not regret the effort to achieve the result. "My phone number has not changed," Macron said.
