One of Putin's goals: there was a threat of Russian landing in Kherson in the near future - CNN

To spread: the Russian army began a new attempt to establish control of Kherson, causing increased blows around the city and in particular attacking the cities across the Koshev River leading to the ship. Its Russians want to cut off from the rest of the city. Russian military bloggers have also warned that the main approach to Kherson from the north would now allegedly be a target for larger drones. New threats to Kherson were told in CNN.

According to the material of the publication, the renewed recent attempts by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to separate the area of the ship from the rest of the city are concerned, as they may be a signal that the Russian army can land in the plain area in the near future. The seizure of Kherson and the region remains one of the main goals of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the war against Ukraine.

In parallel with blows on the bridge across the Koshev River, the Russians continue to terrorize the civilian population of Kherson and the region. Russian drones are regularly pursuing people, after which drone operators teach videos in their Telegram channels, they write in CNN. Victims of such attacks are tens.

On August 2, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Alexander Proudin, reported that the Russians attacked the managed aviation bombs of cities in the district of the ship. Due to the complication of logistics caused by a blow, the authorities called for people to evacuate, and the neighborhood itself was left without gas.

Before that, at the end of July, public activist Yuri Antoshchuk said that suburban settlements around Kherson gradually turn into Zhomars, and life in the city is becoming more dangerous. Kherson rescues, according to him, only the forces of Ukraine's defense and the Dnieper River, but there is little optimism, Antoshchuk assured. He also said that the Russians have already begun to terrorize the route that connects the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions.
