In Transnistria, rocket fragments fell: Chisinau sent military observers there (photo)

The government stated that the origin of the object has not yet been established, and the trajectory of its flight has not been confirmed by independent sources. In the unrecognized Transnistria in Moldova, the fragments of the C-300 rocket in 1968 fell. The explosion occurred in the air. Chisinau sent military observers from the contingent of joint peacekeeping forces to the place of the rocket fragments in the village of Kitskan on the left bank of the Dniester.

This was announced on September 25 by the Government's press service, the Newsmaker Moldovan edition reports. "As for the likely rocket found in the Transnistrian region, we inform that military observers from joint peacekeeping forces are sent to the scene," the statement said. The government stated that the origin of the object has not yet been established, and the trajectory of its flight has not been confirmed by independent sources.

They also added that they would keep the citizens in the situation. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Unrecognized Republic has published a photo of debris on its site. "In the village of Kitskan, residents of one of the houses found a wreck on the territory of the plot, probably aircraft. The characteristic sound of a heavy and large object that has fallen. However, in the dark, the garden did not dare to go out, " - said in a message on the site.

It is noted that the investigative group, specialists of the Ministry of Defense, representatives of the Tripartite Commission were sent to the scene. The detected part of the rocket was studied in place. According to sappers, it is not a direct danger.
