Ukraine hit the center of radio technical intelligence near Moscow, which is extremely important for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR) stated that during the shelling of the territory of the Russian Federation on the night of August 21, drones attacked the center of radio technical intelligence near Moscow.

Experts of the Defense Express told that it is for the object and what it is important for the Russian Federation. According to the newspaper, the head Kirill Budanov in a comment to The War Zone announced an attack on the center of radio technical intelligence about 8 km south of the Ostafiev airfield. At the same time, only one radio technical center is located south of the capital of the Russian Federation, which is directly related to Russia's radio technical intelligence.

The distance between the closest points of the aerodrome and the center - 13 km, or 8 miles (experts believe that the material of the American portal has made an error). On this basis, the authors of the material concluded that it was about the military unit No. 34608, which is also found under the names "309th CRPU" and "Hudok". The part is in the structure of the sixth management (radio intelligence) of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Federation.

According to experts, this facility is central to the Russian system "Circle" for tracking flights of strategic and intelligence, which was launched in the 1950s. Initially, it consisted of several dozen major complexes and individual nodes, which were to intercept the signals of enemy aircraft. The publication believes that "Hudok" was the main place of collection and processing of all data.

The authors of the material noted that over time the object was actively rebuilt and equipped with a new functionality. They also showed satellite images of individual platforms of the military unit. In red, the antennas of the field of the diaper system "Kolo", blue are another antenna field with various and specific designs, and yellow - the newest complex with a large number of satellite aids. In the pictures taken from Earth, you can also see specific space antennas.

The publication assumed that these are the elements of another Russian system of radio intelligence "Star". In view of this, experts concluded that Ukrainians consistently attack strategic warning systems and radio intelligence systems. "If the attack of the 34608 under Moscow is effective, then these are really unique opportunities for Ukrainian long -range drones.
