Putin has refused a US-Ukrainian ceasefire-isw

To spread: Analysts believe that the Kremlin head used Trump's statements about the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces in the Kursk region to distract from his refusal to further negotiate.

While the White House is stated that there are some positive shifts in the end of the termination of hostilities in the Russian-Ukrainian war and are awaiting material concessions from both sides to reach peace, Russian President Vladimir Putin is trying to distract the attention of world leaders from his actual refusal of 30 days. Analytics of the American Institute for the Study of War in its summary on March 14 reported.

"Putin is trying to introduce himself a smart and merciful leader with whom President Trump can communicate with, and create a new narrative to distract from his decision to reject the proposal from the US and Ukraine," analysts write. Researchers refer to the statement of the Kremlin head for March 14, when he answered Trump's calls for pardoning Ukrainian military in the Kursk region.

Then Putin reported that he would guarantee them life and "worthy treatment" by Russia, if they voluntarily put their weapons and be captured. Analysts also say that statements that were in the Kremlin after meeting with Trump's Special Representative Steve Witcoff "emphasize the refusal of" the Russian president from a proposal for a temporary truce on the battlefield.

At the same time, Putin once again demonstrates his unwillingness to lead a fair and constructive dialogue to end the war in Ukraine, according to the Institute of War Study. Earlier, the Institute's analysts reported that Putin seeks to conclude an alternative contract for the suspension of hostilities, designed to strengthen the position of the Russian Federation and restore hostilities.

He may, among other things, require the disarmament of Ukraine and suspend the mobilization and training of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces. The fact that Vladimir Putin may require weapons also confirm the recent statements of European diplomats, who say about EU readiness to continue military assistance to Ukraine, even despite the ultimatums that the Kremlin puts.
