The terrorist attack in the Rivne Shopping Center: the special services of the Russian Federation remotely undermined the published agent - the SBU

The explosion was a recruited agent who was used "dark" and deliberately eliminated with the explosives, with which he entered the building. This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine on Wednesday, February 5. As a result of the explosion, the terrorist was killed on the spot, and eight soldiers were injured in varying severity.

The investigation found that the special services of the Russian Federation planned in advance the destruction of their agent as a "unnecessary" witness of a terrorist attack against the forces of defense. According to the case file, a 21-year-old resident of Zhytomyr region was a perpetrator of the terrorist attack, who did not have a permanent job and sought a quick earnings through telegram channels.

It was there that he was recruited by a representative of the Russian special services, offering money for the task. At the instruction of the curator, the agent arrived in Rivne, having a homemade explosive device (SVP), disguised in a tourist backpack. Investigators found that the explosive was equipped with a mobile phone that allowed the Russian special services to remove the Russian Federation.

In addition, there was another phone in the hands of the terrorist, through the camera of which Russian operators monitored it. As soon as the agent entered the CCC building, they activated the explosive device through the entrance call. The pre -trial investigation under criminal proceedings under Part 3 of Art. 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (terrorist act). Law enforcement officers continue to establish all persons involved in the crime.
