"Increase in degree": GUR is estimated

According to Andriy Yusov, the Russian Federation launched an IPSO on the situation at the Zaporizhzhia NPP, but there is a risk that the occupiers will go to escalation. The statements of Russian propagandists on the situation at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant are part of the information operation. This was stated by a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate Andriy Yusov in a comment on Channel 24 July 4.

According to Yusov, Ukrainian intelligence has not yet observed significant changes to NPPs. In this case, the station is still controlled by Russian invaders, a number of objects at the station have been replaced. "There is a risk that a terrorist state can escalate the situation and complete the preparation for the terrorist attack," the speaker said. Andriy Yusov also noted that the Russians spend IPSO to sow panic among Ukrainians and demoralize the Armed Forces.

"On the one hand, it is an increase in the degree of nuclear blackmail, on the other - it can really testify to the preparation of a scenario such as a terrorist act on the part of the invaders. But now it is about blackmail," - said GUR representative. Recall that on July 4, the Russian media began to disseminate information about allegedly "plans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to attack the Zaporozhye NPP". The propagandists wrote that Ukraine can blow up the station on the night of July 5.
