In Ukraine, they created a new chip to improve combat drones: how it helps the Armed Forces

The new development turns drones into "smart" long -range mines that can land and wait some time before exploding. The Ukrainian company Verba has created a chip for FPV-auctions, which allows them to be removed remotely at a long distance. The UAV workshop was visited by journalists of the American Wired magazine.

The representative of the company Ivan (name changed) noted that thanks to the new development, the drone operator can plant his device and wait a few hours or even days before he explodes. Subsequently, this technology can also be connected to artificial intelligence, which will only start detonation if it, for example, fixes a tank located nearby. Demonstrating Chip journalists, Ivan said it was "what he is really proud of.

" According to the authors of the article, the Ukrainians created a "smart" mine of long -range. This development can increase the efficiency of using FPV-ouons. The peculiarity of such drones is that they must fall to start the ammunition detonation. The mentioned chip solves this problem. Ivan also told reporters that he started operating in the first months of the war after a full -scale invasion of Russia in February 2022. Then he created a small amount of UAV to send the Ukrainian military.

Two years later, its company produces 5000 FPV-oules per month. The publication emphasized that against the background of war in Ukraine is developing a large industry of drones, and it carries out new technological jumps that "envied the Pentagon". In total, there are about 200 UAV companies in the country. We will remind, in September last year the Russian media stated that the Ukrainian military began to use drones that explode after a while after the engine stopping.

Possible cases of self -destruction of Ukrainian drones with timers have been reported. The first drone allegedly fell near the state farm in the Voronezh region, and the second self -destroyed next to the oil deaz in the city of Lugov, Kursk region.
