BTR-87 and Tiger Gas: US Army received "fake" Russian equipment (photo)

The basis for imitation of the armored car was the "tiger", and for the BTR-87-Stryker. The US military has received a number of samples of military equipment that are similar to Russian armored vehicles. This was reported by the press service of the 11th Regiment on Twitter. The 11th armored cavalry regiment received a technique similar to the Russian BTR-87 and the Tiger Gas. Machines must reproduce the capabilities of arms and reconnaissance machines with artillery of the Russian Army.

At the heart of "Tiger" is the famous armor Kham. It was visually modified for similarity to the Russian car. Instead of BTR-87, the BTR Stryker is also used with visual changes. As weapons, a 32V01 combat module with remote control is used. Of all weapons, only artillery is not like Russian samples. Thus, the US Army found an alternative to purchase the equipment itself. It will be used to train the military so that they can distinguish them and recognize them.
