Rare S-300V1 was noticed on the front line in Ukraine: how many of them are left in the Armed Forces (photo, video)

According to journalists, at the beginning of a full-scale invasion of C-300V1 was considered one of the most high-tech systems of Ukraine. Analysts note that C-300V1 SPRs are rare, missiles are scarce, and therefore Ukraine will need to replace Soviet systems with Western samples. The Air Force of Ukraine shared the rare personnel of the C-300V1 anti-aircraft missile system with 9M83 interceptors. The War Zone drew attention to this.

One of the videos that recently shared the Armed Forces, it was about the anti-aircraft missile troops, who initially served on the C-300 complex and now works for NASAMS. History was accompanied by a personnel of combat work to destroy the air goals of Russian troops. At the beginning of a full-scale invasion of C-300V1 was considered one of the most high-tech systems of Ukraine, capable of resisting firing ballistic missiles.

But there is no information on how many such systems are now in service with the Armed Forces. Despite the general nomenclature, the S-300V1 SPR series is completely different compared to the C-300P, which was first developed in the USSR and then in the Russian Federation. The versions of the C-300V contain autonomous caterpillars and radars (Telar). There are also launchers without radar, but are equipped with a crane that can be used to recharge other starting installations.

External radars can also be used with the system. For the C-300V series, two different interceptors, such as 9M82 and 9M83, according to NATO, SA-12B Giant and SA-12A Gladiator, respectively. Both can intercept ballistic missiles at their final steady stage.

These SCRs are in service with the following countries: Ukrainian Analysts from Defense Express agree with the findings of US experts that this type of SCR is rare, missiles are scarce for them, and therefore Ukraine will need to replace the Soviet systems with Western models. However, for their part, they note that in the Western press often rely uncritically on social networks in matters on the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

In the case of C-300V1, it was concluded that Ukraine has 9M82 missiles to C-300V1. The Twz authors rewritten this conclusion, but then amended that it was 9m83 missiles. We will remind that the Russian media reported that the Russian Federation is preparing for export "new" Crone-e. Experts noted that it was in fact a pine complex, which still did not come into service with Russian troops.
