Ukraine later focused on a different direction of development and began to introduce artificial vision, one of the advantages of which is the opportunity to take on board the Drone of the Armed Forces more of explosives. Oleg Katkov told about the advantages of new Ukrainian drones over Russian whose coils, the editor -in -chief of the portal Defense Express on the air of Kyiv 24. Katkov explained that Ukraine was the first to start working with drones that carry a coil with fiber.
The purpose of such developments is that the operator can control the flight to the target without breaking the unit through the action of enemy electronic warfare (HRB). However, the problem was that this was a rise in development, so Ukrainian developers have switched to another idea that turned out to be a "more promising solution".
It is a UAV with machine vision: the operator defines the target, and the device is then controlled by a microcomputer that flies in the desired direction with a special program. "An alternative is machine vision drones and perhaps they are even more promising, because they not only do not fall into the action of the IU, they reduce the direct dependence of the impact on the skill of the operator," he said. The analyst compared why the fiber loses machine vision.
According to him, the coil is "a dead weight" and so UAV cannot carry too many explosives. At the same time, a machine vision device is one fee of a mini -computer that does not gain a useful weight. The next advantage is that the operator should not accompany UAV throughout the flight to the target, heard on the air of the channel.
"One fee with a processor that performs much better the function of resistance to HRs at the expense of auto training, auto -donation: the operator simply shows that he wants to destroy, and everything is doing so, the drone automatically," Katkov summed up.
In addition, on the air of the channel they listed that he was able to drone with machine vision: we note, earlier, focus wrote about drones with artificial intelligence, which, according to Western analysts, will appear on the front in Ukraine until the beginning of 2025. According to journalists, Ukrainian developers received tens of thousands of microcomputers Skynode with an artificial intelligence system. Thanks to this system, the devices have become resistant to HRB.
The article emphasizes the advantages of this technology: Skynode costs only $ 15. And devices can be produced massively. On the portal of the manufacturer Auterion assure that the board, the size of the finger, can be placed on different UAV models, robotic platforms and even marine drones.
