The State Duma of Russia stated that the temporary truce is unacceptable because it is only beneficial to Ukraine. State Duma deputy Viktor Sobolev noted that such a pause will create the conditions for increasing the military potential of the Armed Forces, which does not meet the interests of Russia.
It should be reminded that on March 11 it was reported that the United States, following the meeting with the Ukrainian delegation in Saudi Arabia, cancel the pause in exchange of intelligence and restore security assistance to Ukraine, and Kiev agreed to a 30-day ceasefire. Later, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the results of the negotiations in Saudi Arabia of Ukrainian and American delegations.
