"For better study": Farion taught Russian and entered the CPSU - media (photo)

Farion did not deny the information according to which it promoted Russian during the USSR. At the same time she explained that she joined the ranks of the CPSU to destroy the party from the middle. Professor "Lviv Polytechnic" and linguistics Irina Farion, who criticized Russian -speaking Azov, contributed to the study of foreigners not in Ukrainian but Russian.

This is evidenced by the characteristic-recommendation, which was issued by the Komsomol center for its entry into the ranks of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU). The relevant document was published by ZAXID. NET reporters. Journalists investigated in 2013. That year, they managed to get to the CPSU archives in Lviv and they received access to documents of a local party organization.

Among the documents is the case # 356, which contains the characteristics of the Farion, published by the Center of the VLKSM (Komsomol) on March 10, 1987. The text states that Irina Farion "is responsible, diligent, disciplined" and showed public and political activity. It is noted that she encouraged foreigners to study the Russian language.

"She has repeatedly conducted conversations with foreign citizens for the purpose of better learning the Russian language," the text of the characteristics stated. It should be noted that Farion, having received such a characteristic-recommending, became a member of the CPSU. The current professor of "Lviv Polytechnic", which promotes Ukrainian and criticizes those who do not go to it, was a communist for about a year - from April 1988 to 1989, the media reported.

Irina Farion did not deny membership in the CPSU and did not deny reports on the support of foreigners to study Russian. She reported that she became a communist to destroy the party from the middle. On November 6, the linguist Farion said during an interview that the fighters of the Azov National Grigade Brigade and the 3 assault brigade were "not Ukrainians" because they speak Russian. After the statement, the professor was spoken by Ombudsman Dmitry Lubinets.

The Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for the Protection of Human Rights noted that such statements can be qualified as a call for ethnic hatred. He also suggested that the SBU become interested in this issue. The network also published the fighter of "Azov" Maxim Furba, who is now the deputy commander of the 3rd Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces. The military wrote that Farion has no right to make any criticism of fighters who are fighting against the Russian Federation on the front.

Earlier, Farion stated that she allows her grandson to beat children who speak Russian. At the same time, he insisted that he teaches them in this way in the Ukrainian language. We would like to remind you that on November 8 in the Lviv region another language scandal occurred, during which the visitor of the store stated that he did not understand the Ukrainian language. A few weeks ago, a linguistic conflict occurred in Kiev, during which the taxi driver refused to speak the state language.
