Poland has confirmed that they had missed a Russian rocket that fell under Bydgoszcz

The head of the Ministry of Defense of the country has made claims against a military command, which did not inform the Center for Government Security and other services for approaching Poland a Russian missile. Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaschak officially confirmed that on December 16, 2022, the Russian winged rocket had fallen under Bidgosch, which flew over the country more than 400 km.

In essence, Warsaw recognized the fact that the country was attacked by a rocket of the Russian Federation. About it reports the Polish information TV channel TVP Info. The Head of the Defense Office in connection with the incident made claims against the military command of the country, which in this situation did not fulfill their duties, even after the Ukrainian side warned of an object approaching the Polish space that could be rocket.

Blaschak stated that he did not receive adequate information from the operative commander, but said that any personal or disciplinary decisions would be made after consultation with the President. "Immediately after receiving the report that the object found in Zamosc under Bydgoszha may be a Russian winged rocket, I ordered to start checking in the Armed Forces operational command," the minister said.

At the same time, Blaschak noted that the actions of the Center for Air Operations were correct, as the operative commanders informed the authorities and reported about an unknown object that appeared in the airspace of Poland. However, the responsible person did not inform the Ministry of Defense and did not inform the Center for Government Safety and other services provided by the procedures, Blaschak stressed.
