According to Timur MU special unit officer, the battle lasted for more than a week, and despite significant destruction, there is still a defense. Now the plant is controlled by the Armed Forces. At the Vovchansky aggregate plant, during the operation of the special unit "Timur" the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the soldiers took prisoners of about twenty Russian invaders.

The officer of the special unit "Timura" with the call sign "Viking" shared the details of the operation on the air of the national telecommunication. According to him, the battle lasted more than a week, accompanied by intense shelling by the enemy, who resisted considerable resistance. "The opponent himself at the factory resisted considerable resistance, but in the end we have already completed the task," the scout said.

The task was successfully accomplished: several dozen invaders were captured, and four who tried to escape were destroyed outside the plant. "At the Vovchansky aggregate plant up to two dozen enemy was captured, several dozen were destroyed," the fighter added. According to the officer, although the aggregate plant is largely destroyed, there is still a defense and today it has been transferred under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian special forces have successfully liberated the Vovchansky aggregate plant, which was under the control of Russian invaders in Kharkiv region. The completion of the operation on September 24 was reported by the commander of the special unit Timur to the head of the GRU of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kiril Budanov. The GUR press service then reported that the operation was carried out by several special groups, including "Stugna", "Paragon", RDC, "Junger", BDC and Terror.

The operation lasted several months, since Ukrainian troops blocked Russian units in the plant in June. During this time, Russian troops were in a difficult situation: they were hiding in the enterprise, but constantly suffered strokes of the Armed Forces, which led to significant losses. A spokesman for the Kharkiv operative-tactical group Vitaliy Sarantsev reported that there were initially about 40 Russian servicemen in the plant, many of whom were injured or killed.
