The arsenal of the Main Rocket-Artillery Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation delayed smoke from the fires "as a result of the fall of the fragments of the drone". It was about the attack of drones on the settlement of Toropets. On the Internet, videos from locals have been spreading, which recorded strong explosions and large -scale fires. People wrote about an attack on ammunition. The local authorities, instead, stated that the fire had occurred "as a result of the fall of the drone. " A decision was also made to evacuate the population from the territory where the air defense facilities worked and there was a fire.

According to the sources of focus, the attacks on the warehouse in Toropka were made by drones of the SBU, GUR and SCO. GA warehouses were stored missiles for Iskander and Point-U, North Korean missiles KN23, missiles to the Grad RSSU, as well as managed aviation bombs (cubic). "Cotton" took up 6 kilometers on the area. This arsenal, where missiles, ammunition and explosive materials are stored, was built in 2018.
