In the Russian Federation threatened to bomb the German plant RheinMetall: the owner of the company responded

According to journalists, RheinMetall President Armin Papperger "easily" treated the threats of former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova stated that if in Ukraine the tank plant of the German concern Rheinmetall will be built, it will become a "legitimate goal" for blows. About it writes TASS on July 20.

According to Zakharova, the appearance of such an enterprise in Ukraine can be regarded by the Russian side as a "global provocation". "Such a plant, if it is built, will become, along with any other objects of the defense complex of Ukraine, a legitimate goal for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation,"-said Maria Zakharova.

Earlier, on March 4, Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, threatened to launch calibers on the Rheinmetall tank plant, which is planned to be built in Ukraine. "If Fritz still decides to build truly (although they seem pragmatic), we look forward to. This event will be properly marked with a salute from" caliber "and other pyrotechnic devices," the Russian expatriate wrote.

According to the German edition of Bild, RheinMetall CEO, Armin Papperger, reacted to threats from Dmitry Medvedev "Easy". The head of the company declared its intention to protect the plant from attacks of air defense. We will remind that on March 4, Armin Papperger reported negotiations with the Ukrainian government about the construction of a tank plant in the territory of Ukraine. According to him, it could produce up to 400 modern Panther KF51 combat tanks.
