It was stated that in the occupied village of Podo-Kalinovka of Kherson region on April 23, 65-year-old Valentin Starchenko was found in an apartment building. She was shot by a woman in her stomach, set fire to the apartment and disappeared. In the village of Aprikosovka, unknown struck 54-year-old Lyubov Timchak. She was the "head of the village" Aprikosovka. They also found a Russian serviceman of 40-year-old Alexei Glinin. The house with corpses was also set on fire.

Two more people were shot in Aprikosivka. The body of a 32-year-old local resident Sergiy Shuvyev was found, as well as a Russian serviceman whose person is not established. In this case, the bodies were also set on fire. On suspicion of all these killings, two servicemen of the Russian troops were detained: previously repeatedly convicted 36-year-old Alexander Kaygorodtsev and 34-year-old Alexander Osipov. Their motives are unknown. Criminal proceedings have not been violated.

On April 25, the Ukrainian Prosecutor's Office stated that in one of the settlements of the temporarily occupied anniversary community of Kherson district, Russian military shot a 65-year-old local resident. After that, they tried to burn her house. According to preliminary data, the Russians came to the woman in the yard. The invaders demanded money from it, but did not receive the desired. Then the killers shot the victim of automatic weapons.
