Why the US is delayed with Russia's recognition by the state-sponsor of terrorism

Vladimir Ogryzko Ukrainian diplomat, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (2007-2009) in the West, of course, take into account the nuclear status That is another way that has been mentioned as many times. This is a way through Russia's recognition by the state sponsor-terrorism by the US Congress. We have read that certain criteria are set. This is a purely formal moment so that they do not say that the US State Department has taken such a decision.

And when these criteria are set, there will be several points that completely lie on what the Russian Federation does. You do not need to look for anything anymore. Those crimes committed by Russia in Ukraine, otherwise than terror or genocide, cannot be called. Therefore, if the administration does not do this, it will be to some extent a blow to it, because this decision has two -party support. And it will certainly be approved.

So why does Baiden's administration delayed this issue? Baiden's administration, like any government, tries to hope for the latter that ways to resolve the issue. Here, after the last conversation of the US Department Head Anthony Blinken, with his Russian visa, Sergei Lavrov raised the first place to exchange that weapon bandit Viktor But to basketball player Brittnie Grainer and Exorpyha Paul Wilan.

Perhaps now, against the background of these negotiations, Blinken is not very sound to declare Russia a terrorist. Because then the answer will be clear: if we are terrorists, then be healthy with your Americans, they will sit for 20 years. There are many other things that can now interfere with the implementation of a particular issue. We need to look at all things systematically, we can only guess about them, but we do not know for sure.

In the West, of course, they take into account the nuclear status of the Russian Federation, but I think that the reasons are not. Because the status of a terrorism sponsor means that the contacts of most countries in the world are blocked. And that's really. Now Russia is becoming a terrorism country. This means that China, for example, can no longer have any relationship with this country. Or the same India that buys Russian oil.

That is, it creates certain problems, and here Blinken is right when it says that it can seriously put into contacts of other countries with the Russian Federation. Otherwise, the same countries will be considered by the United States as terrorism.

Therefore, the US administration seriously thinks how, on the one hand, to declare Russia a sponsor of terrorism, and on the other hand, to find the right Modus vivendi with those countries that, because of different circumstances, continue to maintain some contacts with the Russian Federation. So there is such thin matter here. But, I think, in the end, these are the aforementioned criteria will make it possible to make the appropriate decision. But a little later.
