In the battles for Ukraine, a veteran of the ATO Volodymyr Prokhnich was killed, who broke into the building of the Cabinet of Ministers with a grenade on August 4, 2021. His wife Alla reported this on Facebook page. "You have taken my soul today, my boundless love for you will live forever, you are the best that was in my life, you are my pride !!! I do not know how to live without you, it is an unbearable pain that I can't carry with me! ”The woman wrote.

Alla also posted a video in memory of her husband. On August 4, 2021, at about 10 am, ATO veteran Vladimir Prokhnich entered the building of the Cabinet of Ministers with a grenade and threatened to blow it up. He declared the capture of the building and urged to evacuate people. The police started a special operation and detained it for one and a half hours. According to preliminary data, Prokhnich was dissatisfied with the financing of former military personnel and government activities.
