The UAV was knocked down and they fell into the airport. The consequences and victims are silent. In Russia, two drones attacked a military airfield in Engels in the Saratov region. About it reports the Russian edition Astra. The incident occurred on the night of January 10, 2023. According to ASTRA, there were 2 drones, they were shot down, and they fell into the territory of the military airfield "Engels 2". The consequences and victims are not reported as a result of the attack.

The Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country has confirmed information about the drone over the Saratov region, stating that one drone was shot down. "Tonight, the attempt of the Kiev regime was stopped to carry out a terrorist attack of aircraft type on objects in the territory of the Russian Federation. The Ukrainian unmanned amendous aircraft was destroyed over the territory of the Saratov region," - reported in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Reference: As of 2021, Engels Air Base is the only one in Russia where strategic Tu-160 strategic bombers are based. Since February 2022 it is used for the Air Force in the territory of Ukraine. On December 26, 2022, three Russian servicemen were killed after the attack on the airfield.
