Despite all the threats: Trump will continue to treat Putin condescendingly - Bloomberg

To spread: US President Donald Trump does not seem to really increase pressure on Russia, although it can turn into a historic mistake for the United States. After Putin made a visit to China and made a military parade in Beijing, he continued his aggression against Ukraine even more boldly, according to Bloomberg. Over the past weekend, the Russians resorted to a record attack, launching more than 800 drones and missiles across Ukraine, reminiscent of the publication.

And at the same time, the US President has not increased pressure on Russia. On the contrary, he already tried to flatter Putin himself, and deprived Kiev military assistance, and even spoke about the possibility of recognizing the occupied Crimea in Russian. "So what else can Trump try before admitting the obvious: Putin is not interested in peace, if this does not involve the surrender of Ukraine and the retreat of Europe?" - Asks the Bloomberg Viewer Mark Champion.

Earlier, Donald Trump was disappointed that Europe was still buying oil in Russia. He urged European countries to stop such purchases and put pressure on China to give up Russian oil. An example of Trump gave himself - they say, he pressed on India with penalties. However, such statements look quite strange, the expert notes. First, only two EU countries-Hungary and Slovakia-are directly bought directly by Russian oil.

Both states are headed by Trump (and Putin) - Victor Orban and Robert Fitzo, and it would be more logical if Trump tried to persuade them himself. Secondly, even the United States cannot force China to stop importing Russian oil. The EU cannot do this, and Trump is undoubtedly realized. Obviously, Donald Trump drove himself into a dead end, and does not know how to get out, the Bloomberg enforcement officer concludes.

Recently, the US President told reporters that he was ready to move to the second stage of sanctions against Russia. However, he did not voice any specific action plan. The expert suggests that Trump would like to simply "wash" about Ukraine and leave this issue in Europe. However, this can be a very serious mistake - because the instability in Europe will sooner or later affect the United States, and this has already proved both the first and second world wars.
