Five "Assistants" of Russia: Ukraine has joined new EU Council sanctions

Five people who are imposed by restrictions develop drones and deliver them from Iran to the Russian Federation. Almost a dozen countries in which sanctions will be listed in the EU Council. Ukraine and some other countries have joined the imposition of sanctions against five people involved in the provision of drones from Iran. This is stated in the publication of the press service of the Council of the European Union of August 4.

"Iran provides military support for an uncontrollable and unjustified aggressive war of Russia against Ukraine. In this context, the Council has decided to add five persons engaged in the development and delivery of unmanned aircraft to Russia, to the list of persons, organizations and bodies to which restrictive measures are applied" , - explained in the EU Council. Northern Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ukraine have joined the imposition of sanctions.

Restrictions will also be introduced in the member countries of the European Economic Zone-Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. "They will ensure their national policy of this council's decision. The European Union takes into account this obligation and welcomes it," the press service added. We will remind, on August 3 the EU Council introduced new restrictive measures against Belarus.
