Mayor of Kiev Vitaliy Klitschko warned in his Telegram channel that on the left bank was working aircraft and urged Kyivans to stay in safe places. Soon it became known about the first consequences of hostile shelling of the capital. The City Hall was informed that a fire had a fire in one of the regions of the city.

All operational services, including the SES, who were engaged in eliminating the effects of the attack in the capital, went to the scene of the fire. Soon in the department showed the place of ignition. According to the specified information, a multi -storey residential building in the Podilskyi district of the capital was injured as a result of the attack. The ignition took place on the third floor of the high -rise building.

From there, the fire, according to rescuers, spilled over to the attic floor. The total area of ​​ignition in the capital covered 100 square meters, as noted in the department. The firefighters managed to evacuate four people from the fire. It was without casualties and victims, no one sought medical help. The fire managed to localize and liquidate, as the mayor reported. Soon the sounds of explosions were heard in the capital and in the region.
