Minus 15,700 in two months: near Pokrovsk and Mirnograd, the Russian Armed Forces suffer catastrophic losses

Pokrovsk remains the main focus of the Russian offensive, since it is on this section of the front that the largest share of daily Russian assault operations is concentrated compared to other sections of the front line.

In Pokrovsk, according to analysts, the enemy's infantry operates using the methods of sabotage and reconnaissance groups, without carrying out a planned assault on urban buildings in its classical sense, that is, there are no successive attacks building by building, block by block. They try to move stealthily, often using civilian clothes for camouflage. Such enemy groups attack the positions of the Armed Forces only when they consider it profitable for themselves and guarantee their success.

At the same time, the battles in Pokrovsk from the Ukrainian side are, accordingly, battles for key points, and not for every house. Therefore, and accordingly, the actions of small assault groups allow the enemy to create breakthroughs, which are already known to the general public, namely: battles in the central part of the city. In fact, at the border of the "Promzone" (area of ​​the territory of the 9th fire and rescue squad) is the "Pokrovsk" railway station.

The occupiers in small assault groups are trying to take control of the locations of the Defense Forces of Ukraine directly in Pokrovsk itself, to cut off the Ukrainian groups that are concentrated, in particular, in the territory of the so-called "Promka" and to create a threat of operational encirclement. On the western flank of the Pokrovsky direction, the enemy is holding positions along the Udachne line - the agricultural firm "Kovalykha".

There is an advance along the railway leading to Pokrovsk from Mezhova. The key problem is that the enemy is trying to cut the routes that provide logistics for our defenders in both Pokrovsk and Myrnograd. In the Myrnograd direction, there is information about the control zone of the occupiers in the area of ​​mine 5/6. There is an accumulation of small assault groups, and the administrative buildings of the mine management are used as points for UAV operators. According to Rodinsky.

Rodynske is a key point of Ukrainian defense. An asphalt road passes by Rodynske. This is a key location of the defense forces of Ukraine. This is, respectively, in the Rodynske district and in the Volodymyrivka settlement area. Moreover, from Volodymyrivka they are trying to put pressure on Hryshyn, these are again the locations of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. I would like to note: at present, there is no question of the occupying army's control over Pokrovsk, or even more so, of the operational encirclement of the Ukrainian group. The Ukrainian military managed to improve the tactical position in several quarters.

In particular, the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reports that the number of assault groups in Pokrovsk is increasing, using diversified methods of moving personnel. According to corps representatives, the Ukrainian military is simultaneously working on solutions to block the enemy's logistics and then cut it off.

According to the estimates of the Ukrainian General Staff, the loss of the occupiers in Pokrovsk as a result of stabilization measures by special units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine amounted to about 100 personnel in the last day alone.

In general, in a little more than two months, the total losses of the enemy in the Ocheretynsk (Dobropilsk) direction are: personnel - more than 15,700 military personnel, anti-aircraft weapons - 1,364 units (including tanks - 36, armored combat vehicles - 121, artillery systems - 162, anti-aircraft guns - 5, vehicles - 447, motorcycles and ATVs - 592, special equipment — 1). 4,689 different UAVs were also destroyed. These are catastrophic losses even for the Russian army of occupation.

After the failure of the summer-autumn military campaign and huge losses at the front, personnel purges began in the Russian army. It is reported that the meeting was held under the leadership of the Chief of the General Staff of the army of the occupying country Gerasimov. According to the Russian mass media, following the results of the meeting, a decision was made to resign the commander of the 51st Army, Lieutenant General Milchakov. This is a very serious indicator.

Such personnel decisions are direct evidence that all the statements of Gerasimov and the Russian dictator about allegedly significant tactical successes at the front are completely untrue. In fact, the summer-autumn campaign of the Russian occupying forces choked. The losses of the army of the occupying country have reached a level that actually exceeds the ability to replenish the army.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the occupying country, since the beginning of 2025, 336,000 people have signed a contract with the armed forces. And now attention: according to the estimates of the Ukrainian and Western intelligence communities, only from January to November, the losses of the occupying forces amounted to about 353 thousand soldiers. And it's not the end of the year yet. The fighting in the Pokrovsk region is only intensifying, which means that losses will increase.

In addition, fierce clashes are taking place not only there, but also along the entire front line, which is more than 1,200 km. The losses are colossal, which is why Russia itself has already started talking about the second and third waves of the so-called partial mobilization.
