"Putin has to lose": The Chairman of the European Commission told about supplying tanks to Ukraine

According to her, Ukrainians prove that they can protect themselves if they have appropriate military funds. If in Kiev it is said that they need tanks, then European partners should be with all seriousness. "I am for European states to give what Ukraine really needs," she said. She also stated that Ukraine was leading a war not only for itself, but for all of Europe. According to von der Layen, the victory of democracy is needed, and this is possible only when Ukraine has the necessary weapons.

"I am firmly convinced that Ukraine will win and Putin has to lose. The Ukrainians have great motivation. They know what they are fighting for. And partners around the world do everything to get Ukraine to receive the necessary weapons systems," the European Commission said. In addition, in the same interview, von der Layen stated that the sanctions that the West introduced against Russia was working. At the same time, the heads of European countries will not be subjected to Putin nuclear blackmail.

"It is important for me to lose this war and take responsibility for his actions," she said. Ursula von Der Layen said she considers the possible option, in which Putin would appear before the court. Earlier, Focus wrote that Germany would hand over dozens of Dingo and Mars II RSSD with hundreds of missiles to Ukraine. The German Defense Ministry has praised Ukrainian counter -offensive in Kharkiv region, in which German weapons played an important role.

We will also remind that German Chancellor Olaf Scholtz stated that German weapons played a crucial role in the counter -offensive of the Armed Forces.
