According to her, the cause of death was a heart attack. "Tonight, because of a heart attack, Igor Kozlovsky went from us," she wrote.
Igor Kozlovsky lived in Donetsk before the war and worked in the Donetsk Regional State Administration for 25 years the chief specialist of religion and taught at the Department of Philosophy of Donetsk National Technical University. After the occupation of Donetsk, he remained in the city to care for a paralyzed son, but in January 2016 he was detained near his house. Igor Kozlovsky was accused of storage at home ammunition and "sentenced" to imprisonment for 2 years and 8 months.
The religious scholar himself said that terrorists did not like his connection with pro -Ukrainian students. In captivity, Kozlovsky was tortured.
