In Russia found a way to provide Transnistria with gas

The head of the unrecognized Transnistria stated that he went to the Russian Federation on a working visit, but did not announce this visit to "not work for PR. " There he allegedly discussed the question of how to be with gas supply. Russia will supply gas to the unrecognized Transnistrian Moldavian Republic as humanitarian aid. This was reported by President of Transnistria Vadim Krasnoselsky during a meeting with journalists.

The head of the unrecognized Transnistria gathered media representatives to inform the state of affairs in the face of energy crisis and the prospects of overcoming it. He stated that he went to the Russian Federation on a working visit, but did not announce this visit to "work for PR. " In Moscow, he said, the issue of restoration of gas supply to Transnistria was resolved.

The detail of the technical aspects has not yet been given, but Krasnoselsky noted that gas supply for the needs of Transnistria and the functioning of the Transnistria economy will be restored in the format of providing humanitarian and technical assistance to the republic. He did not explain how this will be done. Vadim Krasnoselsky focused on the causes of the crisis, emphasizing that the main is the lack of a full political dialogue between Moldova and Transnistria.

"I suggested repeatedly to Moldova President, wrote letters to which I did not receive. I am sure that if Mrs. Sandu personally learned about the texture, there would be no half of those statements she made. In fact, these statements were the result of ignorance of information , ignorance of the situation, ignorance of circumstances, "he said.

Krasnoselsky assured that all systems are ready to restore gas supply and expressed his hope that the situation in the energy was stabilized and thanked by the Transnistria for understanding, patience and endurance. We will remind that on December 19, 2024 President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine will not continue the transit of Russian gas through its territory. On January 1, it became known that the transit was stopped.
