He later deleted the message. However, the local newspaper N, with reference to its sources in the Nikolaev City Council, also wrote about the death of Vadatursky. In addition, the publication writes that according to them, the Ukrainian businessman died with his wife. The mayor of Nikolaev Oleksandr Senkevich wrote in his Telegram-channel that the night missile firing of the city was probably the strongest since the beginning of a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine.
Alexei Vadatursky was born in 1947 in the Odessa region. In 1991 he became the CEO of Nibulon agricultural company. The son of Vadatursky was the People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the last convocation. In 2020, Forbes estimated a businessman's wealth of $ 450 million. In the ranking of "100 richest people of Ukraine 2021", Alexei Vadatursky took 12th place with a fortune of $ 876 million.
