Exmermer Kupyansk Kharkiv region Volodymyr Demchenko was informed in absentia of suspicion of collaborative activity. About it reports in Telegram the office of the Prosecutor General. According to the investigation, the suspect, who was the mayor of Kupyansk from 2010 to 2015, voluntarily moved to the side of the invaders.

He agreed to occupy the position of the so -called "head" of the occupied Petropavlovskaya United Territorial Community of Kupyansky District of Kharkiv Region, formed by the Russians.
