Russia is trying to get Putin's invitation to the Summit of Ates from the US

The Russian diplomat Marat Berdiev called the US refusal to invite the Kremlin head to the APEC summit by the example of the "incompatibility of the American side" and "preserving the confrontation approach to issues of multilateral economic cooperation". Moscow will seek from Washington the decision to participate in the dictator Vladimir Putin in the Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit (APEC). This was reported by Russian media.

With reference to the ambassador from special orders of the Russian Foreign Ministry and the senior official in APEC, Marat Berdiev, state that the US authorities decided not to invite Putin to the future summit through sanctions. "The United States has told us bilateral channels that this year they are not going to invite a number of leaders because they have sanctions restrictions on them," said, in particular, Berdiev.
