Flying 10 minutes: DPRK launched a ballistic rocket toward Japan (map)

North Korea tried to hit Japan with a ballistic missile. The rocket overcame more than a thousand kilometers and missed. The Government of Japan has reported a ballistic missile that was released by North Korean troops. Citizens of the country received emergency notifications and had to go into shelter. This is stated in the Twitter post by the Prime Minister. The report on the ballistic missile was published at 22:04 (Kyiv time) or at 03:54 on August 24 (Japan's time belt).

There were no other clarifications on the further situation. Meanwhile, the Twitter news agency Al Bawaba has some details of the event. In particular, it was stated that the ballistic rocket was heading in the direction of the Japanese island of Okinawa. Note that the distance from the DPRK to Okinawa is about 1300 km. The ballistic rocket can overcome it for about 10 minutes (if you focus on the speed of Russian Iskander rocket 2100 m/s or 7560 km/h).

The agency also published footage that was broadcast by the Japanese TV channel. During the broadcast, they showed a night sky over Okinawa, expecting a possible ballistic rocket from North Korea. In a few minutes, a report appeared that the rocket flew past Okinawa. It should be noted that the DPRK is a state in the north of the Korean Peninsula, where the dominant ideology is called "Chuchhe". Chuchhe has been planted since the 1950s, and is based on the ideas of Karl Marx and Vladimir Lenin.

From 1910 to 1945, Korea was annexed Japan, and the DPRK, having received the appropriate technologies, from time to time firing ballistic missiles in the direction of the former empire. Currently, the country is governed by Kim Jong -in, who headed her after his father's death and is both the chairman of the party and the head of the army, and the head of the government. Meanwhile, Russia turned to North Korea when the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation lacked artillery shells.

That is why, in July 2023, the Russian Secretary of Defense Sergey Shoig visited the DPRK - to get the projectiles of Soviet calibers needed by Russian troops. At the same time, experts claim that contrary to sanctions, the Russian Federation is still capable of producing their own missiles. In particular, the study of the wreckage of a rocket that has fallen in the Sumy region shows that it has been released recently and contains Western components.

We would like to remind you that a meeting of Brix countries in South Africa took place on August 23. The meeting was not able to participate in Russian President Vladimir Putin - he was threatened with arrest through a warrant issued by the International Criminal Court. Therefore, instead of Putin, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov flew to Africa - tried to strengthen the influence of the Russian Federation on Brix members.
